Dr. Shila Yazdani

Dr. Shila Yazdani grew up in Maryland . She graduated from Montgomery Blair High School in 1993. She then completed her undergraduate studies in Biochemistry and Pre-Dentistry at University of Maryland at College Park (UMCP) and earned distinction as a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society.

She received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Howard University,where she also completed post-doctoral training in ImplantologyTMJ Disorder Treatments. Attending many continuing education courses, including LVI (Las Vegas Institute for Advance Dental Training), helps Dr. Yazdani stay at the top of her field in Implant, Cosmetic, and Neuromuscular Dentistry, so that she can provide the highest level of care for her patients.

Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) is the world's premier post-graduate dental teaching center. At the 62,000 square foot training campus, LVI trains dentists to take into account patients unique concerns, hopes and dreams to create the perfect smile for them!

Dr. Yazdani is one of 3,000 dentists worldwide who have received post-graduate training at LVI. Most people do not know that advanced, comprehensive cosmetic dentistry is not taught in most dental schools. That is where LVI has stepped in to train dentists the latest cosmetic dentistry techniques. LVI trains dentists in the most up to date clinical procedures. LVI educates, guides and supports dentists in the delivery of advanced cosmetic dentistry care.

Kiersten Persoff - Patient Care Coordinator...

Kiersten is a native Floridian, but fell in love with Washington, DC after many years of visiting family here and decided to make it her home about three years ago. She resides in the city with her two “furry friends”, Groovy & Suki. She began working as the patient care coordinator in 2005 and really takes pride in helping Dr. Yazdani create a caring, comfortable and relaxing environment for her patients. When you call the office, it is most often Kiersten’s friendly voice you’ll hear on the other end of the phone. Her responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering questions/concerns, financial arrangements, processing claims and other administrative tasks.

 

Lily Slokvenko-Clinical Assistant

Lily is a clinical assistant at Revive and has worked with Dr. Yazdani for four years.  Lily is committed to providing our guests excellent care plus total comfort. She has had extensive training at the LVI (Las Vegas Institute) for neuromuscular and cosmetic dentistry with Dr. Yazdani. 

Lily was born and raised in Lithuania came to the Us 14 years ago.  She is raising three beautiful kids.
